Dear R/A guy, I wish I could go back to the super hero I was before r/a my story started with chronic ulceative colitis, being sick, started getting tired all the time, then just as I started to accept this condition,my joints started swelling and the pain was sooo bad that I couldn't get out of bed, went to the dr.and they started giving me remicade, not to forget that I am already on prednisone,Immuran, and flagyl for the colitis,I developed a side affect that made my eye swell and they stopped treatment, and pretty much said sorry, and I walked away from relief.... so depressed sometimes,I'm sure due to the meds. I have a hard time mostly every day, and just smile at my friends and say tomorrow will be better, you and I know that never is the case, Tonight and every night I 'll continue to pray they find a cure for all of us, I wan't to wake up the super hero I once was again!!! It never hurts to dream right?

Thanks everyone, for your kind comments and warm welcome. Clare - I have had pronounced RA for a little under five years. Yes, it can be quite challenging at times. I am currently undergoing a strong progression at the moment and hope that my new treatment plan helps bring it under more control.
