I love it. Short, sweet, concise, easy to read and effective. It touches on the important points and explains it to people who might not understand without being overwhelming. Very nice

love this!

Nice! I like the way he explained it, sometimes these things are hard to understand when you read about them because of the use of medical terms that some people don’t know, this was good, not too long and very easy to understand!

I didn’t learn anything new about the disease but I finally feel like I understand what you go through.

Muy excellent!! I think this would be especially helpful to the just diagnosed person who is probably terrified of the disease if for no other reason than all the “big words.” I’d say that Rheumatoid Arthritis is like an “overzealous evangelist preacher — He’s trying to fix something he can’t see and it wasn’t broke in the first place!”

God I can’t tell you how many people just don’t understand it. I’m going to print up a few copies of your pdf and put them in my purse so I don’t have to give the not so nice 60 sec version I usually give when I get things like, oh my grandmother has that and she just used an exercise bike and it went away. Or things like that.

There are, as you probably know, over 200 different kinds of arthritis, and only a few are diseases, RA being one of them. I’ve even had family doctors that don’t even get it. Once they see my hands they get it somewhat but they often assume I broke all my fingers and wrists at some point or something stupid like that. I’ve had this for 20 years now and I also had JRA when I was a kid.

I have searched and searched for short descriptions that really tell it like it is and until now have only found things that are written in scientific jargon or baby language with icing on top as if it was a passing thing that would disappear.

I’ve never had remission unless you count the time between having JRA and having RA. I wish I had appreciated that time more.

However, I’m the strongest person I know, only because I start each day knowing I will get through it. I also have Lupus and I’m going through tests right now for Parkinson’s. I also have all sorts of autoimmune syndromes and conditions, probably as a result of the RA.

I know I sound perhaps a bit bitter, but I’m not, even though I fight a war each and every day. I feel lucky that I don’t have cancer or something like that. They say God doesn’t give you more than you can handle, and whether there is a god or not, I know I can handle what comes my way, even though I do have to be rather bitchy sometimes to do it.

Anyways, I feel very alone with my situation and it comes as a sweet spring breeze to find a site like yours. Thank you, I mean honestly, thank you for taking the time to do what I probably should have done ages ago. Some one had to, and I’m glad you did.

XXX Hugs from Canada.

p.s.sorry for blabbing on so long but geez you are like an internet diamond in a swill !!!!
