I have learned so much from them, and I’ve only just discovered you RA Guy! I thought I was the only one who got the pain and swelling in my jaw! I was so frightened when it first happened to me. My teeth were out of alignment, and it hurt so much just to put my teeth together! I still get it (in fact, it’s dissipating on my left side now), but now I know what to expect, and how long it will last. It still frightens me though. I’m always scared that I’ll dislocate my jaw.
Thank you again, for sharing. It means so much that I am not alone in this.

Laurie – ha, I love the visuals! I think it’s sort of life nature vs nuture…where it’s a little bit of both. Except in our case, it would be genetic vs environmental…a little bit of both.

Jules, you’re welcome. The amount of humor in my posts is usually directly proportional to the amount of RA activity I am experiencing. Sometimes, humor is the best medicine. :)

WarmSocks, I definitely notice a difference when I go into winter, not just because of the temperature changes but also because of the reduced amount of sunlight during the day. I’ve been looking into one of those sunlight boxes for into the house…I saw some at Costco on my last visit, but they were too large to bring back with me.

Interesting about more sunshine to fight RA. Since lack of Vitamin D can be a factor in this disease, and our bodies use sunlight to make Vit D…
