hiya, i love pollys blog, and i can so realate to you i too am 41, or i will be on thursday (18th), and like you i feel i have had it some time, it would be nice to talk to you as a fellow sufferer as i try not to be a martyrr to it but not many people understand, luckily like you i have a good soulmate (hubby) that takes the good days and the bad days without question, we just deal with them.
i have printed your blogs off an am going to have them as my sunday read.
i too have cats we have 8 cats and 2 dogs, all have their own characters and as previously said a good heat source to help the ra.
keep up the good work, i have tried looking for you on facebook but to no avail as it would be good to follow your story, without having to search through all websites, (not easy on computer on flare days).
it would be nice to have ra friends on this side of the continent as i too am in the uk.
regards

Nice to 'meet' you (and hello again to Wren and Cathy), and thanks to RA Guy for inviting me to do a profile. For them as didn't know me before, I hope you'll come by and visit again.

Wren - stick to Polly - it's much better (or Penguin is fine too!) ;o)

Feeling guilty now 'cause I gave RA Guy that picture of me in the wheelchair and forgot to say in the profile that that was the ONE day I've had to use one. I'm pretty lucky, I guess. ;o)

The information you shared about your experiences with rheumatoid arthritis were very informative. I liked how you gave the advice to read as much as you can and don't take anything for granted. It is great that you can still do embroidery, when your hands allow.

Hi Polly! I mean, Anne... Your advice about friends and family not being telepathic is spot on. The hard part is how to tell them when you have to do it continously. Hate sounding like a whiner, but I'm learning.

And yet another cat-person, here -- though I love dogs, too. Cats really are the best as rheuma-buddies, though. Mine loves when I'm sitting still so he can use me as pre-warmed furniture.
