No doctor put him on any medication until age 14–methotrexate. School was a complete loss that year and half the next. Then the methotrexate was removed and Enbrel was started and it helped for a year or two, but now pain and swelling are back and methotrexate seems to be the only option. I’m going to look into actemra.

Yes I am on Actemra here in Australia. I have had about 10 infusions and it is working well :-) I don’t have many side effects just tired after my infusion for a day or 2 and a stuffy nose. I was in pain a few weeks ago but in was my fibro playing up and not my RA so I am lowering my pred again – down to 12.5mg YAY!
It is meant to be having some amazing results.
