My last few flares have made my hands curling inwards and moving sideways. I went to Occupational Therapy and did some nice massaging, whirlpool, etc. But what also helped was that the OT created a custom splint for my hand that gently pushes my fingers back into place. Very comfortable. HUGE improvement. She used some molded plastic stuff that she cut to my hand. It wasn’t complicated. The over the counter braces/splints don’t really do the same.

I got socked with a new weapon, myself — horrid, electrical shocks on my collarbone. Not nice! But I prevailed in the end.

Ooohhh…..that searing pain in the shoulder. I know that pain and it is not friendly at all! Ouch. Why does the shoulder hurt so bad? It is like no other pain.

Sorry to read about this latest episode, son….but glad to read that it lasted and hour and you were back to normal. Hope your cold is better and that your weekend is a good one. I was remembering that exactly a year ago I was visiting and we were getting ready for that trip we took on the 29th! Much love, Mom
