No to the exercise, no to the obligation that weeks ago I thought I could do but now can’t, etc. etc. And 13 years to learn to say not without the guilt. That was the hardest part…letting go of the quilt and coming to terms that no is ok, that no means yes for me to heal. Ahhhhh….I can hear it in your blog post today and I smile.

When I feel that way there are times I push through and go to the pool but most often I take that time to do what my body is saying and for the most part it works out….and like you I have stopped with the regrets- they really serve no purpose other than to drag me down….thanks again. Nan

I’ve been feeling really tired and then have started wondering if I would have felt better IF I had gone to the pool. . .so no second-guessing, and I’ll be happy with my decision to take the day off.
