Its been a while since I had a day like that but I still remember them like it was yesterday. All I can say is I hope you find the treatment plan that finally puts those major flares to bed. I have, so I have hope that you can too! I still have minor struggles of course but its manageable at this point.

Wonderful post. Really, there isn’t much more that needs to be said other than the fact that you are not alone. Many people in life struggle to get through each and every day because of different things. For you it’s RA. For someone else, it’s cancer. But inspiration from people like you are what get others through the day.

I feel so bad this morning I was going to cancel clinic as the effort of getting out of bed seemed too much. Not anymore, I recognise every painful step of your journey but you’re right, it represents success. I will keep moving forward! Thank you.

Hey R.A. Guy: I understand completely how you feel. I often can guage how I am doing by the looks of those around me as well (like you, family or complete strangers). Most days now I’m isolated and at home. So rare is the time I can get out and see how I feel reflected in the looks I get from strangers. My world is increasingly isolated, and sad. – David
