It is beyond my knowledge to understand all that you have gone through and are going through. What courage you have. I’m praying for your comfort, relief and complete healing.

I was diagnosed after I had my son (21yrs old). I am a single mom (my son is now 7) and I always look to him as a reason to get out of bed but I also feel sorry for him. At seven he has already learned to take care of me – bring me food in bed when I can’t get out and kiss my forehead when I am sad. On the weekend he caught me at a very low point – it is so hard to explain why mommy cries. If you ever want to share stories I can be reached at lindsay.holland@gmail.com

You are a beautiful soul and as much as you depend on your family, I suspect they depend just as much on you. Your pictures say it all. I so agree that our children can keep us going. I know mine did and still do to some degree. May your future be filled with many pain free days, lots of love and wonderful memories to tide you over on those rough days.

My own RA isn’t as severe as yours sounds but I struggle everyday with hands that no longer work right, painful knees and feet and oh, the fatigue! This chronic illness thing is quite a journey and it helps to connect with fellow travelers along the way. Healing blessings to you!
