Have a wonderful trip and be proud of those titanium plated wrist guards! I get worried about people seeing the changes in me but actually it’s important that they can and do – it helps people understand. But maybe keep the cape off, harder to explain that one..;)

I am wishing you a safe journey home to Texas, RA guy! As a mom of a 2 1/2 year old, I will definitely remember that I would rather my child be curious about others than be “shushed” and told not to stare. We try to use every opportunity to educate her and this is just another example of one such opportunity that the parent could have used to teach understanding, love, tolerance and manners. Enjoy your visit with family and friends…3 years is a long time.

Hope you booked the bulkhead seat as it gives you more leg room. Well at least it use to. And you can request assistance with a wheel chair from one gate to the next when and if you have plan changes or getting on and off the plan. Have a blast! And yes, rest often and I am holding you to that picture with the cape. Oh what fun! Can you just see the stares with a cape on I dare you!

Thermacare patches might help you. They stay warm for extended periods of time, and they have a patch for almost every part of the body. They might work for you when you are traveling.
