So sorry for your mom’s condition, but it is a blessing you’re able to be with her and your father during her transition. I’m sure your presence and support are priceless to both your parents.
Thanks for your analogy with the traffic, we all deal with it on a daily basis and can now relate it to our chronic illness easily through your blog post–“spot on” as Carla stated above.

I am sorry to hear about your mother’s stroke. However I couldn’t help but chuckle at the Freudian typo where you described your mother’s care facility as an “an impatient rehab center”. I guess she is anxious to get well. But your insight is spot on as always. I agree, I often take the “slow” lane these days and my life is much less stressful. Thanks for the post.
