I am new to reading your blog and relatively new to living with RA… And, like you,I have also stopped being upset and angry and scared at the pain, while it has been almost a year since I was diagnosed, I realized how much energy I was wasting on being sad, sorry for myself and scared of the future. The disease is what it is and there is still life to be lived, and even though I have moments of fear and definitely pain I let them pass and focus on making sure I dont miss out on the things I actually can do… I also want to say thank you for putting this out there because it is really nice to know there are people that really do understand what I feel like and what I am going through… Keep it up! I’ll be reading from now on!

Keep your chin up and hang in there! I’ve had the disease since I was 7 and im now 43. I have told myself i am lucky to have RA as I dont have to go to work everyday and get stuck in rush hour traffic or brave bad weather :d I can stay home, run my own art business (which helps keep my mind and fingers going) and watch the rest of the world rush past :D:D

Oh RA Guy, you’ve done it again. Thank you for helping me learn to live with the pain. Not that I’m not doing everything I can to “control my RA”… but sadly nothing has helped much. I’d have to list your blog as one of the top effective approaches for managing RA!

Mind over matter…well more likely body. That is truly what you have been able to accomplish. So sorry that the metho has been giving you problems.
