She put up photos in the room of scenes in Hawaii — a favorite place we vacationed. She also played Hawaiian music. I was transported from that hospital bed back to the islands!

I keep a “slideshow” of vacation photos on my laptop as my screen saver which I’ve used when I’ve had to stay in bed, but this is a better idea because you can see the photos regardless of whether your laptop is “up”.
