Yes, I really do have this playlist on my iPod…and it really helps me get through the roughest moments during my RA flares. Sometimes, music can be the best medicine.

Edith Piaf: Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien
No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Neither the good that’s been done to me,
Nor the bad;
It’s all the same to me!No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
It’s been payed for,
swept (away),
Forgotten.
I don’t care about the past! With my memories
I have lit the fire!
My disappointments, my pleasures,
I no longer need them.
Swept away are the loves
with their trembling,
swept away forever!
I start again at zero. No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Neither the good that’s been done to me,
Nor the bad;
It’s all the same to me!No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Because my life,
because my joy,
today
begins with you!Read More: http://www.rheumatoidarthritisguy.com/2009/06/piaf-no-i-regret-nothing/

“Hands, don’t you quit me so easily
You don’t even know
Though you’ll never need me
Don’t goI’m losing my hands
Years by the hourglass
So don’t tell me not to be scared
Until you play by the rules
Of heroes and fools
And lose
And be no better for it”Read More: http://www.rheumatoidarthritisguy.com/2009/07/arthritis-song-by-chris-kirby/

Stay tuned…for the next adventure from Rheumatoid Arthritis Guy!

Sweet music… the language of the soul.
I have an arthritis playlist on my iPod too – thought I was the only one! It has Coldplay’s “Fix You” on it too – interesting! I think I’m going to add “Her Diamonds,” which I really like. I listen to mine primarily during my Remicade infusions, but it’s good during flares too.
Thank you for posting your RA playlist- I think that many of us have similiar ones. I have several of the same songs on my Walkman! Music is a great way to help dig ourselves out of the miserable pit that RA tries to shove us into. When my spirit is down, the message from certain songs really helps lift it up again. Today is one of those down days for me- I will definitely be spending some time with my tunes.

TWISTED is awesome and makes me want to dance !

Music is the answer and the ocean heals, good stuff
music = great medicine that some don’t take advantage of! No side effects just positive results!
I’m an audiophile, still love my old vinyl. Music is a huge part of my everyday life and on my days off, I will go into my music room, crank it up and kick back for up to 3 or 4 hours.
