New And Improved RheumatoidArthritisGuy.com!

Welcome, to the new and improved Rheumatoid Arthritis Guy! Over the past couple of weeks I’ve secretly been re-designing this site, and I’m happy to finally roll out these updates! I’ve added much more of a comic-book feel worthy of a superhero, with numerous visual changes in the header, sidebar, and overall layout. Much of the functionality remains the same, but the overall feel is much more lightweight and easier to navigate. Both the archives (complete) and the blogroll (coming soon) have been given their own pages.

I’d love to know what you think of this new design! There are still numerous tweaks that I need to make…so it’s still not 100% updated…but it’s close!

I look forward to sharing many more adventures here, with my exciting new format!

Stay tuned…for the next adventure of Rheumatoid Arthritis Guy!

You did a terrific job redesigning the site. You are right, lighter is a great word to describe the new look. I love it- it fits you and the theme and feeling that you have brought to bringing attention to our illness.

I had a feeling you’ve been working in your secret la-BOR-a-tory on a new incarnation of RA Guy.com! Not many things are as diverting as being in a creative frenzy! :) Cheers to you and to all of us for a refreshing change of venue! GREAT JOB!

I especially love the comic-centric elements, such as the jagged lines/boxes around graphics/banners, as well as the comic-caps font choice. Functionality remains easy-to-use! :) My ONLY addition I would humbly suggest — and this suggestion is offered in friendship and with the deepest of respect and kindness — is a bit more vibrant red (such as Pantone 185 C) in the page palette, such as in the header behind the menu bar, but that’s just one designer’s opinion. ;)

Thanks again for shaking things up in a positive way visually in the RA and autoimmune world!
