12 Days Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas arthritis gave to me

Twelve days in bed

Eleven tubes of joint rub

Ten prednisone pounds

Nine days off work

Eight heat and ice packs

Seven methotrexate

Six days of nausea


Four bumpy nodules

Three swollen fingers

Two wrist guards

And a cortisone shot in my knee!

    I love it. I mean, yes, it’s a very accurate depiction of life with RA any time of the year. But I think a little humor helps to lighten the heaviness, the “what is” that comes with RA. Especially during the holiday season. Thanks for helping me a smile today!!!

    I have to tell you this made me giggle alot, like the other comments have said it’s good to make it humorous sometimes as it helps ease the daily stress. I know I’ll be thinking of this at Christmas
