    How about the effects on a marriage? Mine has been difficult to say the least. I am living with RA for 36 years now and was always candid about my condition.

    My ex married me at age 25 knowing I have had this since 15 and now I am 57. After 20 yrs he left saying the drs, meds, surgeries and physical damage was too much to handle any more.

    That left more damage than the disease…I’ve become withdrawn from everyone and to even try dating after all he said, well it’s just impossible.
